Senior Front End Developer-VOIS

About this Role We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to design and deliver high-quality, semantic, and accessible web applications using modern technologies such as React.js and Next.js. This role focuses on building reusable components, ensuring responsive and performant user experiences, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive digital products. What you’ll do Develop semantic and accessible UI components following established best practices and accessibility standardsEnsure responsive design and optimal performance across multiple devices and screen sizesParticipate in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share knowledge within the teamContinuously improve and refactor the codebase to enhance performance and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutionsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues and performance bottlenecksStay informed on front-end trends, tools, and technologies, sharing insights with colleaguesMaintain clear documentation for code, processes, and technical decisionsPerform manual testing across browsers to ensure compatibility and usability Who you are Minimum 3 years of relevant front-end development experience Strong understanding of semantic HTML5, CSS3, and accessibility best practicesSolid knowledge of core JavaScript concepts (ES6+) independent of frameworks Proficiency in React.js and Next.js, with understanding of their core principles Experience in responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibilityFamiliarity with version control systems, particularly GitStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimise code Detail-oriented with a focus on maintainability and high-quality outputs Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and continuous learning Not a perfect fit?
